Building upon the success of the preliminary efforts in Terminal 3, lcp was hired to work on updating the signage standards and incrementally replacing sign cans and face messaging in Terminal 1, which is the airport’s main passenger terminal. IN order to update sign locations and messaging successfully, lcp began by overhauling a set of passenger flow diagrams for the current state of operations as well as projects based on changes as part of a five year capital improvement plan. Work included the design and programming of all sign faces, user testing and installation oversight over a multi-year installation period while keeping the majority of the terminal operational.
