Building upon the successful previous rounds of Plan Bay Area work, MTC contracted with Civic Edge and lcp to prepare a series of outreach boards and interactive games for a future-forward planning exercise internal to their organization. The exercise, aptly named, Horizons, incorporated a series of information boards highlighting growth and development projections for the SF Bay Area under three different planning scenarios as well as a large scale game board where MTC staff could draw playing cards to make adjustments to the different scenarios and learn resulting implications related to costs, affordability, sustainability, equity, etc.
